Aluzinc

Aluzinc is a flat carbon steel product coated on both sides with a zinc‑aluminium alloy. This protective layer, made up of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon is applied through a continuous hot‑dip coating process.

Thanks to its wide range of advantages, Aluzinc steel is widely used in both interior and exterior environments. A thin, transparent aluminium‑oxide film forms on the surface, giving the material its distinctive, long‑lasting silver spangle finish. The combination of aluminium and zinc delivers outstanding corrosion resistance, even at elevated temperatures. Its surface hardness also contributes to good abrasion resistance, while the coating provides excellent light and heat reflectivity.

  • Supplied with a thin, fingerprint-free coating that acts as a dry lubricant, improving the material's deep-drawing performance and reinforcing the metal during storage, transport and usage
  • Aluzinc provides an excellent substrate for organic coatings. Paint can be directly applied to the material without the need for time-consuming and often expensive preliminary treatment
  • Easily welded and formed
