Nautilus Designs Limited commits to ensuring, as far as reasonably practicable, that it limits and aims to reduce the environmental impact of our operations, and work with our suppliers and customers to limit and reduce those impacts from both upstream and downstream operations. We aim to:

  • Control impacts from work activities.
  • Consult with employees on environmental matters.
  • Provide necessary training and supervision.
  • Comply with relevant Environmental legislation.

CEO / Managing Director Responsibilities

  • Ensure sufficient resources are allocated to meet environmental objectives.

Operations Director / Commercial Director Responsibilities

  • Implement and adapt the environmental policy as needed.
  • Promote environmental considerations in all our operations.
  • Protect our environment from foreseeable risks.

Employees’ Duties and Consultation

  • Employees are informed of their duties under this policy.
  • Regular consultation with employees to integrate their feedback and improve environmental impacting practices.

Systematic Environmental Management

We have implemented arrangements to support the effective implementation of this environmental policy, and we commit to:

  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and determine control measures.
  • Set SMART objectives to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all employees understand and follow the necessary environmental procedures.
  • Preparing emergency procedures, including evacuation in case of environmental incident or other significant incidents and communicating this to all staff.
  • We regard all applicable environmental legislation as setting a minimum compliance standard which we aim to exceed wherever possible, and we expect management to achieve their targets without compromising the environment in any way.
